Everyone should be lucky enough to have a quiet little place to go and relax, spread out all your crafts, and create something special. I would like to welcome you to such a place. I call it my She-Cave.

Our Trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History
My mother came to visit in April of this year. We decided to take the kids to the museum (a place I had always wanted to take them and hadn't yet). It was a great time and we took lots and lots of photos. The following is a 10....yes, I said 10 page layout. If you get a chance to go there, it is really a neat place.
The Great Flood of 2006
Can you imagine the shock to wake up in the morning to go to work after a night of heavy rainfall only to find your car is up to the seats full of water. Grrrrrr!! Thanks to the quick thinking and great work of my loving husband, I am proud to say that my Saturn did not die that day, but continues to be a great mode of transport to this day. We took pics that day and this is my display of those photos. Enjoy!!
Sympathy Card
A family member has just recently lost her spouse. I really liked the inside verse when I saw it online and decided to add it to her card. I hope it brings her some comfort in her time of sorrow.

My husband's new webpage
Today I helped my husband take some pics of a few of the handcrafted one of a kind metal pieces that he has made. Then we set up a webpage to showcase his talent with the world. As you can tell, I am extremely proud of and in awe of the work he does.

The Launa Marie
I finally made it down to the DMV today to pay our registration for our boat. It has been sitting lonely looking in the driveway all summer just waiting for a little water fun. Well, it is time baby!! We will be taking it up to the lake tomorrow after my hubby and the kids get home. I am so excited. =]

Get Well
This is a Get "Whale" Soon I made for my Father-in-law. We didn't know at the time that he was soon to be diagnosed with lukemia. After about 9 weeks at Stanford Medical Center, I am happy to say that he is finally back home and cancer free. Thank you, God!!
More Father's Day Cards
This card was made for my husband from our son, David.
This is a replica of my dad's 1953 Ford Victoria. I have to give many, many thanks to my husband for the hours of help that he gave me in designing, cutting the pieces, and putting together this car. I couldn't have done it without him.
Inside of my dad's card
This card was designed for my Father-in-law, Arnold. Unfortunately, he was not able to be home for Father's Day. He was in Stanford Medical Center. Thankfully, he is now home and I am happy to say....Cancer free.....YAY!!!!
Father's Day Cards
My step-dad has always been a big fan of Popeye for as long as I can remember. Of course, this had to be the card to celebrate his special day.
Inside of the Popeye card
My husband is an absolute artist when it comes to handcrafting and forging metal. I made him this custom card to wish him a Happy Father's Day.
The inside of husband's card showing his hammer making talent.
All of our dogs (cave critters) wanted to show their thanks too.
Another of my husband's hobbies is hunting. This card was made to be given by our daughter, Brittany.
Mother's Day Luau
The Bossiest Cave Critter
This is Garfield!! The name sums up the attitude! Here he is just overlooking my progress on a project. He is just waiting for me to get up and just shake his bowl and even out his food level the way he likes it.

One of my creative critters
This is Paige "Roo" sitting in her chair while I am thinking up a new card to make. She would much rather be in my chair with me right now....but "Mean-ma" said no.
Whoo Hooo!!
